Information for NDIS participants and support coordinators

Hi there, thank you for finding us!

Please call our friendly admin team to chat about our offerings: 0493 878 408, or keep reading below (:

We offer three different services, all of which can be charged to NDIS funding:

Core Supports:
Your Equine-assisted Learning sessions can be billed under ‘Social and Community’ line items in your Core Supports funding

Capacity Building Supports:

Your Equine-assisted Therapy sessions are billed to your ‘Other, Therapy’ line item under your Capacity Building funding

Your Psychology sessions are billed to your ‘Psychology’ line item under your Capacity Building funding

—> We recommend enrolling in BOTH an equine session and psychology sessions. This way your psychologist can support an assessment and implementation plan of your NDIS psychology goals, while your equine practitioner helps you practice your NDIS goals in an embodied and experiential way, alongside the horses.

  • We write NDIS letters of recommendation and end of session reports upon request. We ask that you give us 2-4 weeks notice.

  • Our practitioners happily attend stakeholder meetings, and are available to meet with other allied health professionals to review participant goals.

  • We will communicate with your allied health team, making sure our therapeutic goals align across disciplines.

We’ll ensure your NDIS funding is used properly, here’s why:

At the moment, ‘equine therapy’ is completely unregulated. This means that anyone can call themselves an ‘equine therapist’, when they are not trained in mental health or disability support!

We’re different.

All of our practitioners are highly trained, qualified, insured, and undergo regular supervision and personal development. They are also highly managed under other regulatory boards such as AHPRA or ACA.

Our therapists and psychologists have both the academic background and experience in the fields of mental health and disability support. Our equine-assisted learning facilities have education or psychology backgrounds, and experience in the fields of mental health and disability support.

Our team is passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive mental health and disability support.
